Despite their hectic filming schedules, the main cast of “The Ultimatum” – Zoe Tay, Fann Wong, Li Nanxing, Tay Ping Hui and Felicia Chin managed to take some time off to shoot the publicity trailers and print ads to promote this blockbuster drama. Zoe Tay plays Ye Yu Chen, the intrepid head honcho of a large corporation. A perfectionist, she pushes herself to perform her best to get into her father’s good books. She appears to be nonchalant about internal struggles within her family but underneath the seemingly indifferent persona is a woman who is secretly ambitious and paranoid about people around her.
Fann Wong plays a go-getter lawyer who is passionate about upholding justice. Headstrong and obstinate, she will not change her decisions once her mind is made up. Despite her feud with Yu Chen causing her blow after blow, she is determined to fight till the end.
Li Nanxing plays two characters – God of Gamblers Zhang Feng and Zhou Zhi Da, a habitual gambler. An orphan, Zhang Feng was brought up in a church in Macau and became the apprentice of mysterious old man who taught him the tricks in gambling. He is nonchalant about money and donates all his winnings to the poor. No one really knows who Zhang Feng is but they refer him as the God of Gamblers. Zhou Zhi Da, on the other hand, is a habitual gambler who loves gambling although he has the same nonchalant attitude towards money as Zhang Feng. Despite his crazy antics, he is actually a very loyal person deep down.
Tay Ping Hui plays Sun Jie, a security manager by day and a thief by night. Cunning and arrogant, he takes the law into his own hands and believes he is superior to all human beings. His character takes a drastic change after he meets Song Qiao.
Felicia Chin plays the cheerful girl Sun Min whose passion is in gambling. Due to her upbringing, she is a non-conformist and shuns the typical path most people take in life. Instead, her ultimate goal in life is to be the Goddess of Gamblers.
