Firstly, we have a 'battle' between 2 Princesses, Jeanette and Joanne, for the coveted role of Singapore's very own version of Da Chang Jin (Jewel In The Palace). The full story can be found on pages 20 and 22.
On pages 44 and 45, we have a report on the charity bazaar auction session for the victims of the Sichuan earthquake, held at Ngee Ann City as part of the Big Idea extravaganza on 24th May, night time. Rui En (not present for auction) sold away her brown boots while Dawn Yeoh (see 1st picture) gave away her pink flowery boots to a young girl at $150. Felicia closed the bid for her watch (original cost at $17000) to a 21-year-old girl (1st from left of 2nd picture) for a lower price of $4500.
On page 99, we have Felicia, Fiona and Joanne in the midst of an 8 days issue autograph session (which received an overwhelming response) on the second day of the Big Idea extravaganza at Ngee Ann City.
