Summary for the last episode:
Shufen jumps off the building. Zhenyuan and Shuxian watch her die, right before their eyes. At the police station, Zhiwei beats Alex up and tells him that Shufen has died.
A disillusioned Shuxian decides to return to her hometown. She is shocked when Zhiwei tells her Shufen had admitted to killing George. Rongguang posts bail for Alex, telling him to return home to console Zhenyuan and get hold of the treasure map.
When Alex returns home, Zhenyuan pretends he has lost all interest in finding the treasure. He reveals the code to the safe, which Alex hides from Rongguang. Zhenyuan tells Zhiwei what happened in Pahang and that he and Alex had seen George's dead body. He hints that Rongguang has long known about the treasure. Zhiwei cannot believe his father can be so devious.
Moved by Zhiwei's love for her, Shuxian accepts his marriage proposal. Zhiwei confronts Rongguang. The latter denies that he had arranged for Alex and George to meet. Zhiwei tells Rongguang that Zhenyuan has already handed the treasure map to Alex.
Zhenyuan sees Alex studying the treasure map. He tells the latter he had presumed the place indicated in the map is Pahang. However, he later discovered that there is a similar place in the Philippines. Moreover, the ship that was transporting the treasure had sunk along the coast of the Philippines.
Rongguang asks to meet Alex. Zhenyuan trails Alex and hears Rongguang admitting that he killed Ximei, Winson and Susan. Zhenyuan calls Zhiwei. Alex is so upset that Rongguang killed his mother that he stabs the latter. Before Rongguang dies, he begs Alex to show him the map. He tells Alex that the map is a fake.
Zhiwei turns up. Rongguang tells him not to harm Alex, who is his half-brother. Alex kidnaps Shuxian to force Zhenyuan to hand over the real treasure map.
