The Anniversary Gala 2008 (Channel 8)
“Live” Telecast: 23rd November 2008 (Sunday), 7pm – 10pm on Ch 8
Hosts: Guo Liang, Quan Yifeng, Dasmond Koh, Michelle Chia
The concept is based on the four main genres of programs that form the identity of Channel 8. The anniversary show will highlight the significant and ground-breaking programmes that left an impression in our minds. The four genres are: Variety, Drama, News, Current Affairs. The re-collection of memorable images is specially packaged in segments filled with drama, song and dance. Artistes and hosts who were familiar faces in the past will gather together once again, as accolade and awards are presented based on 45 years of TV production. About 200 artistes in the current roster will be involved, including the 7 Princesses of MediaCorp.
