Lookback at Star Awards Show 2

Still can’t get enough of Star Awards 2010’s glamour and glitz? In the first part of our lookbook, we round up our pick of 10 starlets from the bevy of beauties who flaunted their stuff best at the award show.

Jeanette Aw
Looking elegant and regal in a gorgeous royal purple strapless gown by Bottega Venetta, the Best Actress nominee was decked out in the same Golden Globe outfit worn by award-winning actress Sandra Bullock. According to Jeanette, the dress was chosen by her stylist and specially flown for her as no one has ever worn it yet in Singapore. Well, guess the dress didn't work its charm on her. Nonetheless, definitely a strong contender for best dressed.

Felicia Chin
Decked out in an effervescent mini number from Manish Arora, a designer from India, this princess says, "This is the most comfortable outfit I've ever worn to the Star Awards!" We love the psychedelic colours and geometric motifs embroidered with crystals and beads. Definitely a fun and vibrant piece that agrees with her brand new tan.

Joanne Peh
She had heads turning at every corner with her long slinky black Gucci dress, baring a side peek of her boobs. While we love the silver hardware and details embodied by Gucci's spring collection, we find Joanne looking undead a la Morticia Adams with the makeup and hair.

Rui En
Inspired by screen legend and fashion icon, Marlene Dietrich's androgynous style, rock-chic babe Rui En shows up in old Hollywood glamour style spotting a high waisted trousers and a boxy coat from local designer, Verna Tan. Together with her side-swept 50s hairdo, scarlet lips and blood-red painted nails, the whole menswear combo evokes a stark contrast to the throng of feminine silhouettes at the awards show. Definitely one of our favourite looks for the night.
