Leading in Top 20 most popular list for third week (April 12th to April 18th)

Jesseca Liu, who has been trailing behind in the “Top 10 Most Popular Female” polls for the past few weeks, has now caught up and claimed a spot in the Top 10, pushing Quan Yi Fong off the list! The previous 9 female spots remain unchanged.

Previously edged out last week, Christopher Lee and Pierre Png have regained their positions in the Top 10 this week. Mark Lee continues to fall behind, his chances of getting the “All Time Favorite Artiste” award seems further away as each week passes.

As the Star Awards 2009 draws closer, how will artistes and fans change strategies and make their votes count? From today till Friday, 24th April, Channel 8 will provide daily updates on the Top 10 polls.

The aforementioned rankings are in no particular order. Public voting makes up 50% of the results, while the remaining 50% comes from the research survey done earlier. The results of the Top 10 will be revealed during the Star Awards 2009, 26 April, Sunday, 7 pm ‘Live’ on Channel 8. Voting lines are currently open, and will close on 26 April, 9.00 pm.
