Story: A rookie (Dawn Yeoh) put under the supervision of a cop (Tay Ping Hui) with a shady past finds herself embroiled in one mystery after another. Their constant quarreling leads to romance, even as they bust criminals and save the veteran cop's father from being the latest victim of a serial killer dubbed the "Surgical Maniac".
Note: this drama is not the sequel to the 2002 drama serial that was rerun in August (the one that starred Edmund Chen, Aileen Tan, Xie Shaoguang, etc), neither does it share any direct link with the former (other than being a CID drama). The "X 2" in the title refers to the main leads played by Tay Ping Hui and Dawn Yeoh.

Haha so very true... and notice that Daxiong and Jingyi are total opposites... Daxiong is a cleanliness freak who plays by the rules, while Jingyi is a lazy gal who doesnt bother tidying up her bedroom or brushing her teeth properly :-p
Oh and I just realized something!! Ping Hui's and Dawn's character names,Daxiong and Jingyi, are based off the main characters from the DORAEMON comics!!! Daxiong is Nobita the lazy boy whose great-granson created Doremon, and Jingyi is Shizuka, the pretty and popular girl whom Nobita has a cursh on!!
