Wenya recovers gradually, but she does not want to face Yingjun, Yusheng and Duoduo. Duoduo is irritated about her attitude towards Yusheng, but Yusheng is grateful that Wenya's revelation has cleared up the misunderstanding between her and Yingjun.
Wenya accuses Yusheng of making Duoduo keep an eye on her, so that she would not have the opportunity to get near Yingjun. She vows to win Yingjun's heart. Yingjun receives a call from Wenya's mother in the middle of the night, telling him that Wenya is about to die. At the hospital, Wenya tells Yingjun to break up with Yusheng or she will not die in peace.
Yusheng feels bad. She initiates a breakup, but Yingjun will not hear of it. Just as they arguing, Wenya appears. She had set her two pals up to get even with them. The trio finally settle their differences.
Meiqi is caught between Zhongshang and Anping. Yusheng tries to help her analyse the situation but gets scolded instead. Yusheng finds the coin that Meiqi had tossed and lost one day. She is upset to see the outcome of the toss, as it seems to imply that Anping would lose Meiqi to Zhongshang.
Anping cannot cope with losing Meiqi, who eventually chooses Zhongshang. However, he comes to terms with the realisation that Meiqi's happiness is most important to him. He takes her out to buy bridal accessories and advises her not to scrimp, as she is marrying into an influential family.
Moved by Anping's concern, Meiqi recognises that she cannot bear to leave him. She breaks up with Zhongshang and is reunited with him and their daughters. Zhaoyang rushes to the airport to tell Yinsha not to leave him. For his sake, she gives up her job opportunity.
Yingjun refuses to acknowledge David. Anxin returns unexpectedly.
